Instructions To Make The Paper Plate Duck

Paint the paper plate with a mix of yellow and orange, or brown and green, or which ever color your kid want the duck to be. For smaller kids, you can use the smush painting technique. Skip this step, if you are using a colored plate.

Once the paint dries, outline the shape of the duck using a pencil and carefully, cut it out. From the remaining portion, you can cut a small triangle shape for the beak, and paint it. Again, wait for the paint to dry and carefully stick it to the duck’s head.

Lastly, fix the eyes. We found this really cute googly eyes with lashes. You can use regular ones too. Meanwhile, if none of them are available, cut out a small white circle and draw the eyeballs on it. Then, stick it on the paper plate using a glue stick. You can even draw in the lashes using a marker or black pen. Easy peasy! πŸ™‚ Our adorable paper plate duck is ready.

  1. Wow!! I did one similar to this! And it’s fun (for all agesπŸ˜‰)! Actually I paint quotes and famous movie dialogues in these paper plates.. I give a perfect tint as a background and write the quote/dialogue using a marker or black paint!. It is fun.
And this lockdown I am making handmade notebooks with reusable papers and cloth binds. It is interesting. You should try it, but definitely not with Dhruv around!😍🀩😘
